We are now awaiting the completion of our last championship that being the U 16 A Hurling. North champions Kilruane MacDonaghs have already qualified for the final with their semi final victory over west champions Clonoulty Rossmore on October 6th. However mid champions Drom Inch wait to play the eventual champions from the south. Due to circumstances experienced within the south we are not in a position to bring the 16 A to a conclusion at the present time.. As it is the last outdoor event of our calendar we look forward to a positive outcome shortly.
Our annual medal presentation is being held in Hayes Hotel on Friday November 22nd commencing @8pm. We urge all our various county championship winning clubs to ensure that they will have both their captain and trophy present on the night. Parents, brothers, sisters of the captains are most welcome as well as club personnel.
Medals will be presented to our U 15 Hurling team who won the Carrigdhoun tournament final in Cork. Unfortunately they have been our only victorious county panel this year.
Our Annual General Meeting is taking place in Hayes Hotel, Thurles on Tuesday December 3rd commencing @ 8pm. And again we urge clubs to have any concerns they may like to be addressed to forward them to our Bórd secretary in good time.
