U12 Hurling
The U12 Regional hurling championship began during the last week in the various grades.Keep a eye on fixtures.
U14 Hurling
In U14 hurling, the various grades are coming to a conclusion.
In the U14C Hurling final, St Patrick’s defeated Carrick Davins by three points after a very exciting game. Congrats to the young men from Cloneen and Drangan, and to Davins your day will come.
In the U14 B Hurling semi final replay Cj Kickhams Mullinahone defeated Kilsheelan Kilcash in a high scoring game played in Grangemockler last week. Mullinahone now play Clonmel Og in the South Final which will take in Monroe on Thursday August 28th at 6.45.
In the U14A Hurling , the South Final will take place in Ned Hall Park on Thursday August 28th at 6.30, between Cahir and Moyle Rovers.
U16 Hurling.
In the U16 A and B Hurling Championships, the final group games are being played within the next week, and then we will be set for Divisional Semi Finals.
In early September the Michael o Dwyer Memorial U14 Hurling Championship will begin. Michael was a stalwart supporter of bord na nog games within the division down the years.
The idea was muted earley in the year to give more hurling to the U14 players and also allow players from B and C grades to compete against A teams. Combination teams have being drawn up, and matches will be posted in paper fixtures.
