U14 Hurling Shield.
In the Michael O Dwyer sponsored shield Final played recently in Monroe, the Clonmel Og / Clerihan combo defeated Ballingarry in the Final. Thanks to all clubs who participated in this new competition, it was a great success and gave extra hurling to our U14 hurlers. Thanks also to the O Dwyer family in Fethard, it was great to honour a man who gave great service to Bord na nOg.
U16 Hurling Shield.
The U16 Hurling Shield Final took place recently in Cloneen, and Ballingarry were victorious over the Skeheenarinky / Newcastle combo side. This adds another title to this Ballingarry side, having won South and County Football B titles earlier in the year.
Captains Night
The South Board na nOg Captains night will take place on Sunday November 23rd @ 5pm in the GAA Centre Clonmel. All captains of successful teams during the year will receive their medals. All are welcome.
AGM
The Agm of South Board na nOg will take place in the Gaa Centre Clonmel on Friday November 28th @ 8.00pm.
As our action on the playing field has now finished for 2014, i would like like to put on record the appreciation of the Board, to our Sponsors, match officials , the clubs in the division , players and anyone who helped during the year. There was some great games played during the year, and in general even with extra shield games this year, everything was finished on time, thanks to all involved for making this possible.
