The Tipperary Senior Hurlers defeated Westmeath by 3-20 to 0-13 in a Challenge game on Saturday December 7th at The Ragg. A first half goal by Conor Kenny and a goal in either half by Patrick “Bonner” Maher helped Tipperary to the victory. All proceeds went to Inch National School for the promotion of Gaelic Games.
The Tipperary starting team was as follows – James Logue; Cathal Barrett, Pádraic Maher, Paddy Stapleton; James Barry, Tomás Hamill, Tom Treacy; Séamus Kennedy, Brendan Maher; Denis Maher, Séamus Callanan, David Collins; Tadhg Gallagher, Conor Kenny, Patrick Maher.
