Following last night’s Tipperary County Board meeting and the recommendation from the Tipperary Football Committee, David Power (Kilsheelan-Kilcash) was ratified as the new Tipperary senior football manager for a two-year term. He will be joined in his management team by Head Coach/Selector – Michael McGeehin, Coach/Selector – Paddy Christie (Ballymun Kickhams), Coach/Selector – Charlie McGeever (Clonmel Commercials), Goalkeeping Coach – Joe Hayes (Clare/Toomevara) and Lead Analyst – Tommy Toomey (Arravale Rovers).
David memorably led Tipperary to All-Ireland minor football final success in 2011 and won back to back Munster minor football titles in 2011 and 2012. He has also managed Tipperary at U21 level and was in charge of Wexford senior football from 2014 to 2016.
David and his team are wished every success in their term ahead.
