Steven O’Brien

From Ballina in North Tipperary, Steven won Munster and All Ireland minor football medals in 2011. A dual minor in 2012, Steven added to his collection with a Munster Minor Football and Munster and All Ireland Minor medals. In 2013, he made his debut for Tipperary Footballers in the qualifiers against Galway and in 2014 he won a League Division 4 title. The following year he won a Munster U21 Football medal and in 2016 he was part of the Tipperary Senior Hurling panel that won the All Ireland that year. Steven returned to the Tipperary football set up in 2018 and in 2020 was played at midfield on the team that won the Munster Senior Football title for the first time in 85 years With his club Ballina, Steven won North and County Tipperary Intermediate hurling titles in 2013.
