Paddy was born in 1999 and plays with JK Brackens. In 2016, Paddy won All-Ireland and Munster minor hurling medals with Tipperary playing in defence. In 2016 he won Munster and All Ireland Minor hurling medals, in 2018 he won an All-Ireland Under 21 medal and in 2019 he won Munster and All Ireland Under 20 titles in the inaugural year of the competition. Paddy was also part of the All Ireland senior hurling winning panel in 2019. At post primary level, Paddy captained Our Lady’s Templemore to Dr. Harty Cup and All-Ireland Croke Cup success in 2017. For his club JK Brackens, Paddy has been a leading figure in both football and hurling. He played a key role in the clubs Seamus Ó Riain, Co Tipperary senior hurling success in 2019 which elevated them to the top tier for 2020. He made his championship debut for Tipperary on November 1st 2020 in the Munster championship vs Limerick when he was introduced in the second half.
