Michael Breen – Ballina
Michael was born on July 16th 1994 and plays for the Ballina club. Michael played for the Tipperary Minor Hurlers in 2011 and 2012, winning Munster and All-Ireland medals in 2012 playing at full-back. Michael played with the Tipperary Under 21 Hurlers from 2013 to 2015. Michael won Munster Senior Hurling medals in 2015 and 2016 and All-Ireland Senior Hurling medals in 2016 and 2019. Michael won North and County Intermediate Hurling medals with his club Ballina in 2013. Michael made his League debut for Tipperary as a substitute in the 2014 League semi-final versus Clare. Michael made his Senior Championship debut for Tipperary as a substitute in the 2015 Munster Semi-Final versus Limerick, scoring a goal from play. Michael was named at full-back in the Bord Gais Energy Under 21 Hurling team of the year in 2015. Michael was nominated for All-Star awards at midfield in 2016 and 2020. Michael won an InterProvincial Hurling medal with Munster in 2016.
