Mark was born on September 9th, 1998 and plays with the Kilsheelan-Kilcash club. He was on the Tipperary minor football team in 2015 which reached Munster and All-Ireland finals but unfortunately lost both to Kerry. He was on the Tipperary minor hurling panel in 2016 and helped Tipperary to All-Ireland and Munster minor hurling success. In 2018 he lined out at full-forward to help Tipperary to All-Ireland Under 21 success adding a second underage to his name. He won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal with UCC in 2019 where he was in devastating form in the final scoring 1-4 from play in a man of the match performance as his side claimed the title. in 2020 Mark was again in top form as he  helped UCC to their second title in a row and their 40th title in total.
