Conor hails from Ballyporeen in South Tipperary and made his championship debut against Laois in 2010. Over the next 10 years, Conor would establish himself as one of the leading forwards in the country. Of course, 2020 was a memorable year for Conor when he captained Tipperary to their first Munster Senior Football title since 1935. His performances throughout the 2020 championship earned him a well-deserved GAA/GPA All Star Award and in doing so became only the 3rd Tipperary footballer to win an All Star Award Over the course of his Tipperary career, Conor has also won a Munster U-21 football championship in 2010, a Division 4 League title 2014 and a Division 3 League title in 2017. Conor is a leading figure with his club Ballyporeen and played a key part in them winning a County U21 football title in 2011 and a County Intermediate football title in 2013.
