Feile Peil
Congratulations to Newport Gaels who put in some fine performances in the National Feile Peil tournament last weekend in Connaught. Hosted by Kilmovee from Mayo, Newport Gaels played Kiltimagh, St Nicholas in Tourlestrane and Kilmovee at home in the pool stages, winning all three games well. Then then met Leitrim side from Fenagh in the quarter finals narrowly losing by 1-7 to 0-7. Fenagh then went on the win the competition. North Tipp CNG would like to thank Newport & Ballinahinch for representing the Division and indeed County Tipperary with pride.
