Both Nenagh Eire Og and Toomevara are no strangers to North Minor finals. If Nenagh succeed in gaining a place in the final they will go in search of a historic eight win a row and in the process take their 18th title. On the other hand, Toomevara will want to make amends for the defeat to Nenagh in last year’s thrilling final and should they succeed in reaching the final they will hope to bridge a sixteen year gap since they last won. The remainder, Ballinahinch, Burgess, Newport, Portroe, Silvermines and Borris-Ileigh will rejoin the quartet for the North championship proper at a later date.
