Minor ‘A’Football Championship: In Group 1, Ballina play Kildangan this week to decide winner and runner-up in the group.
In Group 2, Newport Gaels play Portroe. If Newport Gaels win they will top the group with Nenagh Éire Óg in runner up position. If Portroe win, then all three teams will be on equal points and score difference will decide the positions.
The Minor A semi finals will be played on Wednesday 22nd April.
Minor ‘B’ Football Championship: In Group 1, Lorrha play Shannon Rovers Gaels and victory for Lorrha would put them in top position with Burgess as runner up. Victory for Shannon Rovers Gaels would see all three teams on equal points with score difference deciding positions.
In Group 2, Silvermines play Borrisokane; victory for Silvermines would put them in top position. The remaining game, Borrisokane v Moneygall/Clonakenny will be played next week. The semi-finals in will be played on Wednesday, 29th April.
Senior & Intermediate Hurling: The second round of the County Hurling Championships will be played on weekend 25th/26th April. The third round is expected to be played on weekend 9th/10th May. However, should Tipperary fail to reach the National league Final and the All-Ireland Under 21 Football Final then these games will be played on 2nd/3rd/4th May. It is expected that the North Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championships will commence on either the weekend 10th May or 17th May.
Junior Hurling Leagues: The third rounds of Junior ‘A’ and ‘B’ Leagues will be played this weekend. With two more rounds to be played after that, all teams are still capable of qualifying for the knockout stages.
