U14
The B championship began last week and produced wins for Kilruane, Ballina, Borrisileigh, Borrisokane, and Shannon Rvrs.
Fixtures
The A grade will begin on 18th June whilst the B’s play Rd 2 this week as follows ;
Ballina v Shannon Rvrs, Borrisileigh v Lorrha, Borrisokane v Burgess, Portroe v Moneygall and Kilruane v Newport Gaels.
U16
The U16 Hurling Championship will commence on 30th June for both A + B grades.
U16 Football.
Well done to Toomevara who beat Gortnahoe in the Co Semi last week with a score of 0-10 to 1-5. They will now meet Ballingarry South on June 28/29. Meanwhile, Newport Gaels await their semi versus the Mid champions on June 21st.
Inter County Football
The U14/15 + 16 intercounty tournaments will take place on July 5th. More details next week.
Inter County Hurling
The annual inter county hurling tournaments for U14/15 & 16 will take place on Aug 30th.
Feile
Best of luck to Newport Gaels who are off to Co Mayo for the Peil tournament on June 27th whilst Borrisileigh and the other three Divisional winners, plus JK Brackens, will take part in a Provincial Hurling Blitz day. Meanwhile Nenagh Eire Óg and Silvermines have both opted to participate in a Regional Blitz day. Both e the provincial and regional blitz days will take place on the last week end in June in a Munster venue.
