All Ireland Minor Football Final:
Commiserations to the Tipperary minor footballers who were defeated in the All-Ireland final last Sunday. The Mid Division had a strong representation with 5 clubs represented. Despite losing 2 All Ireland finals it shows us that the future is no doubt very bright and a lot of these players will have a long and hopefully successful future in the Blue and Gold Jersey.

Clean Ireland County Senior Hurling championship:
Drom – Inch and Thurles Sarsfields fly the flag for the Mid division this weekend in the County Senior Hurling quarter finals when they face Kildangan and Clonoulty Rossmore respectively. Drom-Inch face the North champions on Saturday at 2pm in Semple Stadium while Thurles Sarsfields face Clonoulty Rossmore at 3.30 on Sunday.

County Senior Football Championship:
Mid Champions Loughmore Castleiney are the sole Mid team remaining in the championship and they face Kilsheelan Kilcash on Wednesday night in the County quarter final. We wish them well in the game.

County Intermediate Football Championship Q/Fs:
Upperchurch Drombane had a good win in the County Intermediate football quarter final on Saturday last in Templederry while Holycross Ballycahill face Inane Rovers on Wednesday in Templetuohy @ 7.30pm.

County Intermediate Hurling Preliminary Quarter Finals:
On Sunday next Clonakenny face Rockwell Rovers in Littleton at 12noon in the first of the preliminary quarter finals while Drom-Inch are out in another of them on Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th all depending on the result of the South Intermediate final. If St Mary’s win the game will be against Gortnahoe Glengoole in Templetuohy but if Kilsheelan win it will be against them on Wednesday night in Clonoulty

County Junior A hurling quarter finals:
Well done to Thurles Sarsfields who had a good victory in the county junior A hurling quarter final over North Champions Knockshegowna following extra time while Mid champions Moyne Templetuohy face Clonoulty Rossmore on Saturday in Boherlahan at 1pm

Thurles Credit Union Mid Minor A hurling championship:
The remaining group fixtures are been played this week in the championship when Drom Inch face Thurles Sarsfields in Dr Morris Park on Wednesday at 7.30pm while Drom Inch face JK Brackens on Sunday morning in The Ragg at 12 noon. The semi final pairings shall be known after the game on Sunday morning.

Mid Minor B Football Final:
Loughmore Castleiney face Upperchurch Drombane in the Mid Minor B football final on Saturday September 26th in Kickham Park Thurles with throw in scheduled for 5pm.

Condolences: It was with great regret that the Board learned last Friday morning of the passing of Eddie Connolly from the Loughmore Castleiney club following his courageous battle with brain cancer. The Loughmore-Castleiney club man Connolly represented his club and county at all grades of hurling and football, and captained Tipperary to the All-Ireland intermediate hurling title in 2012. The Board would like to extend their sympathies to the Connolly family and also the Loughmore Castleiney club on their loss. Ar Dheis Dé Go Raibh A Anam

Yours in sport,
