Munster Senior Club Hurling Semi final:
Following a very difficult week for the Thurles Sarsfields club following the tragic death of their coach and selector Jackie Griffin, they will try to gather themselves and take on Na Piarsaigh of Limerick in the Munster semi final with a final encounter with Waterford Champions Ballygunner at stake for the victors. Thurles Sarsfields are now the last remaining Tipperary club left in the Munster hurling competitions and we wish them best of luck in the game and hope that they can march on to the Munster final.

All Star Award:
Heartiest congratulations to Seamus Callanan of Drom-Inch who received his second All Star award when picking up the award at Full Forward. Seamus was a vital member of the Tipperary side who won the Munster Senior hurling final and who narrowly came up short against Galway. Seamus finished the year with 5-20 to his name in championship games. This is Seamus’ second time receiving the award, he was also named at full-forward in 2014 and was also previously nominated for an All-Star award in 2008, 2009. Seamus was also on the shortlist for Hurler of the Year for the second year in a row but lost out to TJ Reid of Kilkenny. Seamus was previously nominated as Young Hurler of the Year in 2008

Munster Intermediate Club hurling Semi final:
On Sunday last, a huge crowd travelled to Cloughduv to support Clonakenny in their Munster semi final with Cork champions Newcestown and they were to just come up short in the game played in difficult conditions. The game was a tough battle from pillar to post and with outcome of the game in the balance right up until the final whistle the men from Clonakenny battled right up until the final whistle however it was not to be and they were beaten by 0-14 to 0-13. We wish Conor Ryan a speedy recovery following a nasty hand injury which halted the game for a long period as he received treatment. Well done to Clonakenny who represented the division, their county and themselves exceptionally throughout their Munster championship journey.

Mid Convention:
The Mid Convention will be held in Sarsfields Social Centre on Friday 11th December at 8pm. Clubs are reminded that Nominations and Motions must reach Secretary Sally Young no later than 6pm on Friday 13th of November 2015.

Horse and Jockey Kia U21 B Hurling Championship:
