Donal & Rose Younge Mid Under 21 A hurling Championship:
Last weekend seen the Mid U21 A hurling semi finals held and both games were very keenly contested and entertaining games. Moycarkey Borris were defeated by Holycross Ballycahill in the first of the semi finals by 1-21 to 1-10 while in the second semi final Thurles Sarsfields got the better of Drom Inch by a goal on a score of 1-20 to 0-20 in what was a closely fought game and the result was in the balance right up until the very end.
Horse & Jockey Kia U21 B hurling championship:
Gortnahoe Glengoole and Boherlahan Dualla will have to meet again in the Under 21 B hurling semi final after playing out a thrilling 4-13 to 2-19 draw after extra time. This game will more than likely be replayed next weekend In the other side of the draw, Thurles Sarsfields and Loughmore Castleiney will play each other in the Losers Group final on Wednesday night at 7.45 in Templetuohy with the winners having to face Moyne Templetuohy / Thurles Gaels next weekend.
Munster Club Action:
Commiserations to Loughmore Castleiney who were defeated in the Munster Senior club football semi final by Dr Crokes of Kerry.
County Championship Action:
Commiserations to Loughmore Castleiney who were defeated by Clonoulty Rossmore in the County Junior A football final which was held in Templetuohy on Friday night last.
Congrats to Upperchurch Drombane who were crowned County Junior B hurling Champions on Sunday last when they defeated Portroe in Kilcommon by 1-14 to 1-10.
Mid Primary Schools Quiz:
The Mid Primary Schools Quiz will take place in Younge’s The Ragg on Sunday 27th November at 7pm.
Mid Board Convention
The 2016 Mid Board Convention will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Friday 9th December at 8pm which will be preceded by Mass for Deceased Members of the division and their friends at 7.30pm. On behalf of the board we would like to thank the Gortnahoe Glengoole club for hosting the AGM
