Mid Under 21 A Football final: Loughmore Castleiney are the 2015 Mid under 21 A football champions following their 2-9 to 1-7 victory over Drom & Inch in Templetuohy on Friday night last. This proved to be a ding dong battle in which the lead exchanged hands on a few occasions but Loughmore Castleiney sealed the game with 2 second half goals. Mid Chairman Joe Kennedy presented the cup to winning Loughmore Castleiney captain Noel O’Connell. We wish them best of luck in the County semi final.

Mid Junior Hurling leagues: The Mid junior hurling leagues will begin on Friday 3rd April with a round to be played every weekend. See Mid fixtures for details

Mid Minor Football Championship: The Mid Minor football championship gets underway on Wednesday 1st April with Drom & Inch facing Na Sairsealaigh Og while Moycarkey Borris are up against Holycross Ballycahill in the A grade while the B grade begins with Loughmore Castleiney facing Moyne Templetuohy Og. County Senior Hurling Championship: This weekend sees the commencement of the Clean Ireland County Senior Hurling Championship with Loughmore Castleiney the first of the division’s sides in action when they face Lorrha Dorrha in Nenagh on Saturday at 2.30. On Sunday, Moyne Templetuohy, Holycross Ballycahill, Drom & Inch, Moycarkey Borris and Thurles Sarsfields are all in action with double headers taking place in Boherlahan and Dolla.

James Holohan Challenge Cup: Boherlahan Dualla overcame Borrisokane in the replay of their quarter final tie to join Moyne Templetuohy and JK Brackens in the semi finals of this cup competition. The final score was 2-14 to 1-13 in favour of Boherlahan Dualla.

Comórtaisí Ceannais na Mumhan Scor Sinsear: The Munster final of Scor Sinsear took place last weekend in Ovens, Co.Cork and there were two fantastic performances and victories for the Mid Division. In Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Song), Ella Stapleton of Upperchurch Drombane emerged victorious while in Aithriseoireacht / Scéalaíocht, Noel Joyce of JK Brackens stole the show again with another terrific performance. All roads now lead to the All-Ireland finals of Scór na Sinsear which will take place on 25th April in CityWest Dublin. Comghairdeas libh agus go néirí go geal libh sa chéad babhtha eile.

All Ireland Croke Cup: Best of luck to Thurles CBS who face St. Kieran’s Kilkenny in the Masita Under 18.5 All Ireland Croke Cup which takes place in Semple Stadium Thurles on Saturday 4th April at 5pm. The game shall be shown live on TG4.

Easter Bonnet Fun Walk:
There will be an Easter bonnet fun walk taking place Friday 3rd April (Good Friday) taking place in the Ragg around Inch Loop Walk. Registration (Voluntary Donations) shall take place in Drom & Inch GAA grounds from 11.30am with proceeds in aid of Suir Haven Centre Thurles. There will be refreshments afterwards in the clubhouse. This is a very worthwhile charity and the adjudication of best bonnet shall by members of the Tipperary Senior hurling team.
