Roadstone Intermediate Hurling Championship: The loser’s group final takes place this Friday in the Holycross between Thurles Sarsfields and Holycross Ballycahill with a place in the Mid Semi finals at stake for the victors. Throw in is at 7.30pm.

Mid Junior A hurling Championship: The Junior A hurling championship begins this Friday evening with the Thurles derby between Thurles Sarsfields and Thurles Gaels which takes place in Kickham Park at 7.30pm. On Saturday evening JK Brackens face Drom Inch in the Ragg at 5.30pm while later that evening in Castleiney, Loughmore Castleiney face Moyne Templetuohy with throw in scheduled for 7.30pm.

Mid Junior B Hurling Championship: The junior B hurling championship kicked off last weekend with a victory for Knock over Thurles Gaels by a score of 2-12 to 3-8. In the same group this Friday evening Moycarkey Borris play Gortnahoe Glengoole in Littleton at 7.30pm.

County U21 A & B Football Semi finals: The county under 21 A & B football semi finals take place this Wednesday 17th June and we wish our divisional champions the very best of luck as they go in search of a place in the county final. “B” champions Upperchurch Drombane face Portroe in Dolla while in Templederry at the same time “A” champions Loughmore Castleiney play North champions Newport.

Upperchurch Drombane Golf Classic: The Upperchurch-Drombane GAA club annual Golf Classic will take place on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th of July in Dundrum Golf and Country Club. The event promises to be an enjoyable occasion for both serious and occasional golfers with prize fund of 1400 Euro.
