Centenary Agri Mid Senior Hurling Championship:
Thurles Sarsfields are the first team into the Mid Senior hurling final following their victory over Drom-Inch in a pulsatating game held in Templetuohy on Sunday evening last by a score of 3-17 to 1-18. They await the winners of the JK Brackens and Loughmore Castleiney semi final. See Mid fixtures for details.

Gleeson Quarries Mid Senior Football Championship:
Loughmore Castleiney over came neighbours Moyne Templetuohy but needed extra time to do so in the Mid Senior football semi final. Despite both sides short players the game was played in end to end fashion and Loughmore Castleiney pulled clear in extra time to win by a score of 1-20 to 3-10.

Roadstone Mid Intermediate Hurling Championship:
Drom-Inch and Thurles Sarsfields will play in this year’s Mid Intermediate hurling final following wins over Clonakenny and Moycarkey Borris. Drom-Inch defeated Clonakenny by a point following a very entertaining game on a score of 0-20 to 2-13 while Thurles Sarsfields ran out comprehensive victors over Moycarkey Borris by a score of 2-20 to 0-10.

Roskeen Construction Mid Junior A Hurling Championship:
There was only the one game played in the Junior A championship last week with Thurles Gaels recording a single point victory over JK Brackens by a score of 0-9 to 1-5. There will be a full round of games this weekend. See Mid Fixtures for details

Thurles Cash and Carry Junior B Hurling Championship:
There was only the one game played last weekend with Boherlahan Dualla maintaining their 100% record with a 3-14 to 0-7 victory over Upperchurch Drombane.

Thurles Credit Union Mid Minor Hurling Championship:
Last week saw the opening rounds of the Thurles Credit Union sponsored Mid Minor A & B Hurling championships. There were wins in the A grade for Drom-Inch and Thurles Sarsfields over Boherlahan Dualla and Moycarkey Borris while Upperchurch Drombane had big win over Moyne Templetuohy Og in the B Grade. This Wednesday sees a full round of games in the A competition while in the B Upperchurch Drombane face Loughmore Castleiney.

County League Success: Well done to Upperchurch Drombane who took the honours in the Jim Devitt Cup Senior Hurling League Final overcoming Kilruane MacDonaghs in the final recently.

Senior Hurling Relegation: Well done to Holycross Ballycahill who maintained their senior hurling status with a victory over Cappawhite in the County Senior Hurling Relegation on Friday evening last in Dundrum.

Inter County Action: Commiserations to our Mid representatives and to the Tipperary Senior Football panel and management who exited the championship following their defeat at the hands of Tyrone in Semple Stadium Thurles last Saturday. Also we say hard luck to our Mid representatives and to the Tipperary Under 21 hurling panel and management who exited the championship following their defeat at the hands of Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds on Thursday last.
