Mid Tipperary GAA Awards Night
The 2015 Mid Tipperary awards night takes place in Younges The Ragg on Saturday 30th January 2016. Awards shall be presented to Stephen Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields)(Senior/ intermediate Hurler of the Year), Paul Shanahan (Upperchurch Drombane)(Senior/Intermediate Footballer of the Year), Lyndon Fairbrother (JK Brackens) (Minor Hurler of the Year) and Thomas Nolan (Drom Inch) (Minor Footballer of the Year). Mikey Ryan of Holycross Ballycahill shall be inducted into the Hall of Fame on the night also.

Clean Ireland County Minor A football Champions
Well done to Drom Inch who were crowned County minor A football champions following their hard fought 0-10 to 0-7 over Clonmel Commercials in Gortnahoe on Saturday last. This was a historic victory as it was the club’s first ever County title at this grade.

Clean Ireland County Under 21 hurling finals
Well done to Thurles Sarsfields who qualified for the County under 21 A hurling final following their victory over and Nenagh Eire Og last weekend and will now go into the final as hot favourites where they will play West champions Cappawhite/Sean Treacys who defeated Carrick Swans in the other semi final.
In the B championship Upperchurch Drombane came up just short against North champions Borris-Ileigh losing out by just 2 points in a tightly contested game.

Harty Cup
Well done to Our Lady’s Templemore who reached the semi finals of the Dr Harty Cup by defeating Castletroy College by 0-17 to 3-5. They now play De La Salle college of Waterford in the semi final which is due to be played on Saturday 30th January.
