With baited breath we waited for the arrival of the hurling championships which have this week commenced with an air of expectant enthusiasm. It is going to be full steam ahead for the next few months as we roll forward in earnest to see who will come out on top at the end of which we hope will be rewarding and exciting championships for all our players and clubs. Already the first rounds of the U12 championships have thrown in, the first match in U14B championship is on June 12th, U14A on June 19th and U14C two days later on June 21st. The U16 championships commence after the junior cert exams on Monday June 30th, so a lot to look forward to.
