Murray triplets inspire Scoil Mhuire to Ladies Football schools title

Scoil Mhuire, Carrick on Suir defeated Coláiste Íosagáin, Stillorgan to claim the All-Ireland SAFC title after a thrilling Lidl Post Primary Schools Ladies Football final at Nowlan Park yesterday (4-16 to 2-8).
Keely Corbett Barry’s first half goal helped the Tipperary girls to a seven point interval (1-7 to 0-3) lead but Coláiste Íosagáin stormed back after sub Sinead de Bhuilde hit two goals. With the Waterford senior star triplets, Emma, Katie and Aoife Murray leading the way, Scoil Mhuire upped gears to again take command of the decider.
Goals from Geraldine Power (2) and Beth Norris sealed an incredible victory for the Carrick on Suir side and sparked tremendous celebrations at the final whistle.
