Tipperary GAA is now accepting applications for the position of – Fundraising, Finance and Administration Officer
Job description
The successful candidate must have experience in key account management, financial planning, administration and fundraising. This is a varied role which will be focused on analysing accounting data, administration of our County Board Draw fundraiser and management of our IT/ticketing systems for matches. You will be working with the accounts, administration and management team in our Thurles office.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Management & Administration of the County Board Draw fundraiser and its associated database system/s
- Management and administration of the County Board online ticketing system/s
- Identification & development of financial/sponsorship/fundraising opportunities for Tipperary GAA, and management of existing fundraising events
- Management of match IT Hardware devices, and IT support for other units
- Accurate and efficient entry, reporting and management of data
- Management of credit control in the specific areas of ticketing, fundraisers and sponsorships
. Willingness to learn other roles to ensure all roles are efficiently covered during scheduled/unscheduled leave
- Liase with provincial and national officers re designated areas
- Prepare and present reports to management and other committees on an ongoing basis
- Attend meetings at County, Provincial and National level, as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, as required
Candidate Requirements:
. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
. A finance/management/administration qualification would be an advantage
. Must have experience with working with online/software systems
. Must have excellent IT/computer skills particularly Excel and MS Office Package
. Excellent oral, verbal and written English communication skills
. High level of numerical accuracy
. Excellent organisational skills
. Have an interest in the association (GAA)
. Understand priorities with the ability to meet tight deadlines
. Attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability in the role is essential
. Ability to multi-task and to work on own initiative
. Currently eligible to work in Ireland
. A full Driving licence
. Can work well in a team setting
. Can interface regularly with the public and other units of Tipperary GAA
. Has experience in financial oversight
. References from previous employer/s will be required before the role is filled
