Andrew plays for the Nenagh Eire Og club. Andrew was part of the Tipperary Minor Hurling panel in 2013 and 2014 before playing with the Tipperary Under 21 Hurlers in 2015 and 2016. Andrew helped his club Nenagh Eire Og to the 2015 Tipperary County Senior Hurling Final.
Andrew made his National Hurling League debut as a substitute against Kilkenny in February 2016.
