Tipperary have received two nominations on this years All Star Hurling shortlists which has just been  announced. Thurles Sarsfields Ronan Maher has been named amongst the 16 strong nominees in defence, while Ballina club man Michael Breen appears in the 6 man midfield list.

Tipperary will also have another award contender as  Nenagh Eire Óg’s Jake Morris has been named among the list of nominees for the young hurler of the year award.

We extend best wishes  to all three players ahead of the final announcement which will be made at an awards ceremony expected to be held at the end of February.
