West Minor A Hurling Championship:
Congratulations to Clonoulty/Rossmore who are the 2015 Dundrum House Hotel West Minor A Hurling champions following victory over Emly/Treacys in Annacarty on Sunday last. Match Report
It was their second victory over Emly/Treacys this season and they have now won the competition for the 15th time. Clonoulty/Rossmore will now play the south champions in the county semi-final.
West Minor A Football Championship:
Congratulations to Galtee/Golden who are the Tipperary Print and Design West Minor A Football champions for 2015 following victory over Arravale/Eire Og in the final on Thursday night last in Cappawhite. Match Report
It was their second victory over Arravale/Eire Og this season having also defeated them in the group stages. It is Galtee/Golden’s 4th title in the grade having last won the competition in 1962. They will now meet Clonmel Commercials in the county semi-final.
West Junior B Football Championship:
The semi-finals of this year’s Rea Clarke Hennessy West Junior B football championship have been fixed for this Friday night October 16th, both throwing in at 8pm. Extra-time will be played in the event of a draw. Cashel King Cormacs and Rockwell Rovers meet in New Inn. Eire Og Annacarty Donohill will meet Galtee Rovers in Cappawhite.
West U21 Hurling Championship:
The O’Dwyer Steel West U21A Hurling championship commences this Sunday October 18th as Arravale Rovers and Cashel King Cormacs go head to head in Golden with an 11am throw in. Cashel King Cormacs were West Minor A champions in 2012 while Arravale Rovers were the Minor B champions.
The Groups for the Ollies Bar West U21B Hurling Championship have now been decided as follows:
Group 1: Lattin/Cullen Gaels, Golden/Kilfeacle, Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams
Group 2: Rockwell/Rosegreen, Galtee/Emly, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill
The first round of games are fixed for this Sunday October 18th. In Group 1 in Bansha, Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams take on Lattin Cullen Gaels while in Group 2 in Sean Treacy Park, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill take on Rockwell/Rosegreen. Both games throw in at 11am.
County Senior Football Championship:
On Wednesday night last Aherlow Gaels got revenge for last year’s West semi-final defeat when they defeated Eire Og Annacarty Donohill in the quarter final of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Football Championship to set up a semi-final meeting with Clonmel Commercials. There were two West sides in action on Sunday last in the semi-finals of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Football Championship in Cashel.
Arravale Rovers just came up short against Moyle Rovers while Clonmel Commercials just got the better of Aherlow Gaels. It was Arravale Rovers second county semi-final defeat in 5 seasons while it is the second year in a year that Aherlow Gaels have bowed out at the semi-final stage of the competition.
County Junior A Hurling Championship:
Best of luck to Clonoulty/Rossmore who will take on Roscrea this Saturday Oct 17th at 3pm in The Ragg in the final of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Junior A hurling championship.

On Saturday last in Kilcommon Golden/Kilfeacle kept their unbeaten record in tact when they defeated Ballina to qualify for the final of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Junior A Football championship.
Golden/Kilfeacle will now play the winners of the other semi-final between Emly and Gortnahoe/Glengoole which takes place this Saturday Oct 17th at 3pm in Golden. Extra-time to be played in the event of a draw.
County Minor B Hurling Championship:
In the Clean Ireland Recycling County Minor B Hurling championship Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams will now play South champions Grangemockler/Ballyneale in the county semi-finals. This game has been currently fixed for Saturday October 24th at 3pm in Leahy Park in Cashel. Extra-time will be played in the event of a draw.
County Minor B Football Championship:
In the Clean Ireland Recycling County Minor B Football championship, West champions Clonoulty/Rossmore will take on Ardfinnan in the county semi-final on Wednesday night Oct 21st at 7.30pm in New Inn. Extra-time will be played in the event of a draw.
