West Junior B Hurling Championship:
Congratulations to Eire Og Annacarty Donohill who are Tipperary Co-Op West Junior B Hurling champions for 2015 defeating Sean Treacys in the final by seven points in Cappawhite on Saturday last. Match Report

Eire Og will now play the winners of the South Junior B Hurling Championship in the County semi-final.
It was Eire Og’s first title in the grade since 2005 and they have now completed a West Senior and Junior B hurling double. Cashel King Cormacs were the last club to achieve this in 1993 and 1995.

West Junior A Football Championship:
Congratulations to Golden/Kilfeacle who are AIB Tipperary West Junior A Football champions for 2015 defeating Emly by one point in the final on Sunday last in Sean Treacy Park. Match Report

It was Golden/Kilfeacle’s first title in the grade since 1979 and title number six in total.

On Tuesday night last Golden/Kilfeacle qualified for the final defeating Clonoulty/Rossmore in the semi-final which was played in Cappawhite. Match Report

Golden/Kilfeacle will now play Newcastle in Cahir this Saturday at 3pm while Emly will face Ballingarry in Cashel at 2pm, in the County quarter finals. Extra-time will be played in both games in the event of a draw.

West Minor Hurling Championship:
Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams are Bewley’s West Minor B Hurling champions for 2015 and for the first time in the clubs history following their victory over Cappawhite Gaels in the final which was played in Annacarty on Sunday last. Match Report

The semi-finals of the Dundrum House West Minor A Hurling Championship which were due to take place on Thursday last were postponed and will be re fixed at a later date.

County Senior Football Championship:
In the Preliminary quarter finals, 2010 champions Aherlow Gaels will take on 2011 champions Thomas McDonaghs on Saturday September 26th in Holycross with a 5pm throw in. Galtee Rovers have been drawn against neighbours Cahir and this game is currently fixed for Golden on Sunday 27th September with a 3pm throw in. Extra-time will be played in both games in the event of a draw.

County Senior Hurling Championship:
Eire Og Annacarty Donohill’s defeated Lorrha/Dorrha in the County Preliminary quarter final on Sunday last in the Ragg. It was their second victory over Lorrha/Dorrha having defeated them in the group stages of the competition back in May.

The draw for the quarter finals has now been made. All four quarter finals will be played in Semple Stadium. Clonoulty/Rossmore will have to dethrone last year’s county champions Thurles Sarsfields if they are to advance to the semi-finals of the competition. This game has been fixed for Sunday September 27th with a 3.30pm throw in.

A day earlier on September 26th West Champions Eire Og Annacarty Donohill will take on Kilruane MacDonaghs also with a 3.30pm throw in. Extra-time will be played in both games if teams finish level.

County Intermediate Hurling Championship:
The final positions in Group 2 of the County Intermediate Hurling Championship are now known. St. Marys defeated Gortnahoe/Glengoole in the second playoff to set up a final game against Lattin/Cullen Gaels. Lattin/Cullen Gaels then defeated St Marys in the final playoff to top the group and qualify for the County quarter final, St Marys qualify for the Preliminary quarter finals.

In Group 3 there is also a three way playoff to see who will finish bottom of the group. On Wednesday last Moyle Rovers defeated Shannon Rovers by one point after extra time. Cashel King Cormacs will now take on Shannon Rovers this Saturday September 19th at 5pm in Templemore. Extra-time to be played in the event of a draw

In the Preliminary Quarter finals of the competition the draw has been made:
Rockwell Rovers v Clonakenny
Golden/Kilfeacle v Carrick Davins
Cashel King Cormacs v St. Marys

County Intermediate Football Championship:
Rockwell Rovers will play the losers of the South final between Mullinahone and Clonmel Og on Wednesday September 23rd in Newcastle with a 7.30pm throw in while Cashel King Cormacs will play the winners of same in New Inn at 7.30pm on the same night in the County quarter finals. Extra-time to be played in both games in the event of a draw. The South final is currently fixed for this Saturday September 19th in Davin Park with a 5pm throw in.

County Junior A Hurling Championship:
Following the completion of the South Junior A Hurling final, West Champions Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams will take on South runners up Ballylooby Castlegrace. This game is currently fixed for Sunday September 27th in New Inn with a 4pm throw in. West runners up Clonoulty/Rossmore will take on South Champions St Patricks in Boherlahan at 1pm on Saturday September 26th. Extra-time to be played in the event of a draw in both games.

Tipperary Minor Football Team:
Best of luck to our West representatives and to the Tipperary Minor football team and management who take on Kerry in the All Ireland Minor Football Final in Croke Park on Sunday next.
