Centenary Agri Senior Hurling Championship: In Group 3,Thurles Sarsfields had a 1-15 to 0-10 victory over Moyne Templetuohy on Sunday evening last in Templemore in round 2 of the Mid Senior Hurling championship. Pa Bourke was the main scorer for Sars finishing with 1-4 from play while Martin Kelly was the main score getter for Moyne Templetuohy with 7 points from placed balls. There was also a return to club action for Denis Maher and Michael Cahill following injury. This now puts Thurles Sarsfields top of the group with 3 points while Moyne Templetuohy are bottom. Moyne Templetuohy face Drom-Inch in the final group game in 2 weeks. This weekend in Group 2, Loughmore Castleiney open their campaign against Holycross Ballycahill in the Ragg on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm. On Saturday 6th June, Boherlahan Dualla face JK Brackens in the Group 2 game in Littleton at 7.30pm
Mid Minor A Football: Drom-Inch had a comprehensive victory over Moycarkey Borris 5-17 to 0-2 to set up a Mid final encounter with JK Brackens. This game will take place after the Leaving and Junior certificate exams.
Junior Hurling Leagues: In the Junior division 1 league semi final, Loughmore Castleiney had a 5 point victory over Moyne Templetuohy which now sets up a league final between Loughmore Castleiney and Thurles Sarsfields. In Division 2, JK Brackens take on Thurles Sarsfields in the final this Friday evening in Kickham Park Thurles at 7.30. In Division 3, Clonakenny play Knock while Boherlahan Dualla face Gortnahoe Glengoole in the semi finals this Friday also.
Junior Hurling Championship: The Junior A and B hurling championships are pencilled in to start on 14th June.
Minor Hurling Championship: The minor A and B hurling championships are provisionally scheduled to start on the 24th / 25th June.
