Centenary Agri Mid Senior Hurling Championship: Next weekend sees the commencement of the Mid Senior hurling championship as Upperchurch Drombane and Holycross Ballycahill open proceedings of a double header in the Ragg on Saturday at 2.30 while Moycarkey Borris face Boherlahan Dualla at 4.00. Following the conclusion of the County championship group stages the Mid championship is the last chance for some clubs to qualify for the County quarter finals and these games are sure to be keenly contested. On Sunday, the top two clubs in the betting to lift Dan Breen meet in Holycross as Drom-Inch face Thurles Sarsfields. Both teams come into the game off the back of defeats in the County championship and will want to get back to winning ways.
Roadstone Mid Intermediate Hurling Championship: The Mid Intermediate hurling championship begins on Friday evening when Thurles Sarsfields face Drom Inch in a repeat pairing of the Senior Championship. This game takes place in Boherlahan at 7pm on Friday evening. Clonakenny face Holycross Ballycahill on Sunday in Templemore at 12noon while the Moycarkey Borris and Gortnahoe Glengoole will act as the curtain raiser on Sunday in Holcross with throw in at 2pm.
Gleeson Quarries Mid Senior Football Championship: Drom-Inch defeated Moycarkey Borris in the quarter final of the Mid championship to set up a semi final meeting with JK Brackens. The other semi final sees Loughmore Castleiney face Moyne Templetuohy.
Mid Junior Hurling Leagues: In Division 1 of the Mid junior hurling league Drom-Inch face Thurles Sarsfields in the Outside field on Sunday morning at 12noon while Loughmore Castleiney face Moyne Templetuohy in the other semi final next weekend. In the Division 2 semi finals Thurles Sarsfields face Gortnahoe Glengoole on Friday 22nd in Gortnahoe at 7pm while JK Brackens take on Thurles Gaels on Sunday evening at 5pm in Templemore. In Division 3 there are still places up for grabs but Boherlahan Dualla are guaranteed top spot in the group and a place in the semi finals.

The following teams will play in one game (open draw) with the two losers relegated. If either of the four teams win their divisional championship they will be removed from the relegation process.

Upperchurch Drombane Clubhouse Official Opening: Upperchurch Drombane will host an inter county Senior hurling challenge game between Tipperary and Dublin to officially open their new clubhouse and indoor facilities. Throw in for the game is pencilled in for 7pm and we would invite patrons to attend and show their support for this event.
Mid Minor A football Championship: JK Brackens have qualified for the Mid Minor A football final following their victory over Thurles Sarsfields by 1-12 to 2-4. The other semi final between Drom-Inch and Moycarkey Borris fell foul to the weather last Friday and will be rescheduled in the coming weeks.
Mid Minor B Football Championship: Upperchurch Drombane and Loughmore Castleiney will meet in this year’s Minor B football final following victories over Gortnahoe Glengoole and Thurles Gaels respectively. The final shall take place after the State examinations.
NEW TIPPERARY GAA DRAW
The New Tipperary GAA draw will see its first draw take place on Friday 22nd May
The Draw Committee have introduced major increases in commission as follows, which should prove very attractive to clubs; 50% up to 200 members, 60% for members between 200 and 300, 70% for members after 300
All this and still retaining a €500,000 Prize Fund
This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs to bring in the much needed revenue to run the club throughout the year and with some fantastic prizes to be won each month. Contact your club co-ordinator or promoters to join in time for the first draw.
