All roads lead to City West on Saturday morning next for the All Ireland Finals of Scór Sinsir 2015.
Hopes are high around the county that we will bring home All Ireland Honours and if the old adage is true – Cleachtadh a dhéanann Máistreacht then our competitors are sure to do us proud. Ella Marie Stapleton ó Teampall Uachtar will represent us in the Amhránaíocht Aonair. Is ámhránaí aoibhinn í Ella agus guimíd gach rath uirthi.
Having previously won and having contested for All Ireland honours Noel Joyce – J K Brackens will perform and entertain us in the Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht competition. We wish Noel all the very best and having mentored Ciarán Byrne in Scór na nÓg we hope for a double.
To Ruairí, Niamh, Áine, Louise and Brian who represent us in Ceol Uirlise we extend our best wishes. Newport must surely be ringing with the strains of beautiful music as they finely tune their pieces for Saturday. Go néirí go geal libh.
