Mid Under 21 A & B Football Championship
The Mid under 21 A & B football championships kick off this weekend with all the action in the A competition taking place on Sunday with 2015 Mid Champions Loughmore Castleiney facing Thurles Sarsfields in Castleiney while 2015 County Minor A champions Drom Inch take on Holycross in the Ragg and 2015 County U21 B champions Upperchurch Drombane take on JK Brackens in Drombane. All Games have a 12 noon throw in.
Meanwhile in the B grade on Saturday Boherlahan Dualla take on Moyne Templetuohy Gaels in Boherlahan at 12 noon while Gortnahoe Glengoole face Moycarkey Borris in Gortnahoe at 12 noon on Sunday
JK Brackens do Strictly Come Dancing
JK Brackens are hosting a Strictly Come Dancing night in Our Lady’s Secondary School on Saturday 6th February with doors opening at 6:30pm. The main event itself will kick off at 8:00pm sharp. It is really shaping up to be a great night of entertainment and the 16 couples are rehearsing hard to be sure the are step perfect with their routines. Tickets are as scarce as hen’s teeth, do you have yours??
Dr Harty Cup
Well done to Our Lady’s Templemore who qualified for the Dr Harty Cup final on the 20th February against Ardscoil Ris of Limerick and will now look to win the title for the first time since 1978. The Templemore side will hope to go one better than when they were beaten finalists in 2000, 2002 and 2013
