Biography

Niall was born on December 16th, 1992 and plays with the Kilruane MacDonaghs club. Niall was part of the Tipperary Minor Hurling panel in 2010 and the Under 21 Hurling in 2012 and 2013 (as captain). Niall was also part of the Tipperary Under 21 Football panel in 2012 and 2013 and won Munster and All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling medals in 2013. Niall won a Munster Senior Hurling medal in 2015, lining out at corner-forward and scoring 3 points in the final versus Waterford. Niall made his League debut versus Cork in the 2014 Quarter-Final scoring a goal. Niall made his Championship debut at corner-forward versus Limerick in 2014 scoring a point from play. Niall won a Munster Senior Hurling medal in 2016, lining out at corner-forward in the final versus Waterford before winning an All-Ireland Senior Hurling medal later in 2016 coming on as a sub in the final versus Kilkenny. Niall won his second All Ireland medal in 2019.
