2020 was the breakthrough year for the Loughmore/Castleiney club man who made his senior inter-county debut in the Division 3 league game v Offaly. Just 2 months later he was a member of the Tipperary panel that won the Munster Senior Football title for the first time in 85 years. At club level Conor plays both hurling and football and won a Mid Tipperary hurling and football double in 2018. But it was in 2020 that he really established himself as a leading forward finishing the club championship as joint top scorer and also winning the Mid Tipperary Young Player of the Year award. A talented athlete as well, Conor has represented his country in the Celtic Games 1500m and has run the 800m in under 2 minutes.
