North Premier 12's End Games.

 

All 4 finals of the North  Premier 12s were played in Ballinderry on Sat last.In the  Group 4 final Roscrea accounted for Kilruane, Well done to Lorrha who beat Moneygall in a thriller 1.03 to 1.06,

 

In the Group 3 final Borrisileigh accounted for Silvermines and in the Group 1 final Kildangan defeated Roscrea on a scoreline 4.07 to 3.05, This was a fantastic days hurling and great credit to all young hurlers,We wish all 8 teams the best of luck in the County Premier 12s End Games which will take place in Semple Stadium on Saturday Aug 25th,  A special word of thanks to Shannon Rovers club for their hospitality on the day.

 

 

The North U-14 A hurling final between Kilruane and Newport Gaels will take place on Sunday next 19th in Nenagh starting at 1.00, Kilruane who enter this final already as North and County Feile Champions will be narrow favourites this should be a great game of hurling and not one to miss.

 

 

The North U-14 B final will be played on this Friday evening in Ballinderry at 7.00 and will see Kildangan and Borrisokane, Both teams were very impressive in their respective round games again this game is expected to to go down to the wire.

 

 

With all round games now complete Toomevara and Nenagh Eire Og finished with 8 points each, Newport 6 pts, Roscrea 4 pts, and Kildangan and Borrisileigh each on 2 points,

 

The first 1/4 final will see Roscrea at home to Kildangan with the winners to play Toomevara in the Semi -Final, In the second 1/4  final Borrisileigh will host Newport with the winners to play Nenagh Eire Og in the Semi- final,

 

Both 1/4 finals will be played on Monday next 20th Aug at 6.45. please note extra time to be played in the event of a draw.

 

 

In round 6 played on Monday last Silvermines defeate Lorrha,Burgess defeated Shannon Rovers,Ballina and Portroe played a draw and Borrisokane and Kilruane also drew, Templederry a     bye,

 

Round 7 will see Burgess at home to Templederry,Ballina at home to Shannon Rovers,Silvermines will host Portroe, Kilruane are at home to Lorrha and Borrisokane abye, All gamee on Mon next 20th starting at 6.45.

 

 

The North U-14 A Plate will commence on Wed 22nd,

 

In the first round Toomevara will be at home to the losers of the 14 B final (Kildangan or Borrisokane),Moneygall are at home to Nenagh Eire Og, Rosrea a bye, The top two teams to qualify for the final, All games to commence at 6.45.

 

 

Portroe at home to Burgess, Silvermines at home to Borrisileigh, and Ballina at home to Shannon Rovers, the top two teams will qualify for the final, All games to be played on Wed 22nd at 6.45

 

 

Tipperary Supporters All- Irl U-16 tournament will be hosted by in North Tipp on week-end 1st and 2nd Sept,

 

Toomevara will host Tipperary, Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Galway in the "B" competition,

 

In the "A" competition Galway, Waterford and Offaly will play in Dolla, Laois Dublin and Clare will play in Kilcoleman, Antrim Tipperary and Limerick will play in Nenagh and Wexford Kilkenny and Cork will play in Puckane, The Cup semi finals will take place in Dolla and Nenagh while the Shield Semi finals will take place in Kilcoleman and Puckane. The finals will take place in Semple Stadium on Sunday 2nd Sept,
